At Curtis Family Vineyards, we aim to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure shipping experience. Please review the information below to understand how we process and deliver orders across Australia.
1. Shipping Locations
We currently ship Australia-wide only.
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
2. Processing & Dispatch Times
Orders placed before 8:00am (ACST) on a business day are processed and dispatched the same morning.
Orders placed after 8:00am, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Please note:
- Some orders may be shipped from multiple locations and may arrive in separate parcels.
- Dispatch times may extend during peak periods such as public holidays, major promotions, or extreme weather events.
3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timeframes
We use Australia Post for all deliveries.
Estimated delivery timeframes:
- Metropolitan areas: 2–6 business days
- Regional areas: 5–7 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to:
- Weather events
- Courier backlogs
- Remote area access
- Peak seasonal demand
We will always do our best to keep you informed of any significant delays.
4. Shipping Costs
Free Shipping
You receive free shipping Australia-wide if:
- Your order total is $250 or more, or
- You are a Wine Club member, regardless of order value
Orders Below $250
Shipping costs for orders under $250 are calculated at checkout based on order weight and delivery location.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
You can track your parcel through:
- The Australia Post website
- The Australia Post mobile app
- Your MyPost account (if set up)
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to activate.
6. Delivery, Signature & Safe Drop
Alcohol purchases may require age-verified delivery.
Australia Post may:
- Request ID at the door
- Require a signature from someone over 18
- Leave a collection card if no one is available
If “Safe Drop” or “Authority to Leave” is used:
- You accept responsibility for the parcel once delivered
- Curtis Family Vineyards is not liable for loss, theft, or damage
Multiple-item orders may arrive separately and on different days.
7. Return-to-Sender, Address Errors & Redelivery Fees
Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are accurate.
If an order is returned due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Failure to collect from the post office
- Missed delivery attempts
Then the following applies:
Return-to-Sender Fee
A $30 return-to-sender fee applies.
(This may change at any time based on courier pricing.)
Redelivery Fee
To resend your parcel:
- Redelivery is charged at cost, based on your location
- Any RTS fees incurred are added to the redelivery amount
Refund Option
You may instead request a refund for products only. Refunds will be made minus and shipping costs and any RTS fees incurred.
8. Order Errors & Customer-Initiated Replacements
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- The correct products
- Quantities
- Shipping address
- Variants (e.g., bottle size, wine style) are selected at checkout.
If you request a replacement for an order error made by you:
- A $10 per item replacement fee applies
- You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with re-sending
- Replacements are subject to stock availability

9. Damaged Parcels or Incorrect Items
We package all wine with care.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the packaging and items
- Keep all packaging materials until the claim is resolved
We will then process a replacement or refund in line with our Returns & Refund Policy.
10. Wine Shipping Regulations
We comply with all relevant Australian liquor and shipping laws.
If your location has restrictions that prevent us from shipping alcohol there:
- We will inform you promptly
- Your order will be cancelled and refunded
11. Order Modifications & Address Changes
If you need to change your order or address:
- Contact us as soon as possible at:

We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or dispatched.
If the incorrect address was entered and the order has already shipped, the Return-to-Sender Policy above will apply.
